Mentorship Program

The purpose of the Mentorship Program is to create a program that leads to a meaningful, long-term relationship between a current RNS student (Grade 12) and an alumni or friend of RNS.
  • Mentoring requires a trusting, confidential relationship based on mutual respect. Mentoring involves a clearly bounded relationship that is close and uncoerced (unlike friendship or parenting).
  • Mentoring involves a definite time commitment. The RNS Mentorship Program will be reviewed annually.
  • Mentoring is planned for enhancing specific growth goals and outcomes for the mentee.
  • Mentors should provide quality feedback, both formally and informally, to the mentee.
  • Mentors follow a servant leadership model by providing value to another without receiving extrinsic rewards.
