Registered Nurse - Part-Time
Employment Term: Permanent part-time registered nurse with rotating weeks on call
The school nurse is a key member of the Wellness Centre, ensuring a supportive and welcoming environment. They provide preventative care, health assessments, and collaborate with other healthcare providers to support students' overall wellbeing. The nurse plays an essential role in enhancing the health and wellness of both students and staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
Medication administration
Organize and run immunization clinics
Maintain health records
Provide care during illness/emergencies
Coordinate student appointments
Phlebotomy collection
Health education
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team
Data entry
Qualifications:
Registered nurse with a current license to practice in New Brunswick
Minimum 5 years of previous nursing experience
Experience in any of the following areas of nursing would be considered an asset: pediatric nursing, mental health nursing, emergency nursing or primary practice nursing.
Valid New Brunswick driver’s license
Collaborative and team oriented
Energetic, enthusiastic, and flexible
