Applications for the 2026-2027 school year at Rothesay Netherwood School are now open. As space is limited, we encourage families to apply early! At RNS, the academic program commences at the beginning of September and ends in June.
ADMISSION APPLICATION DEADLINES
December 15th
Early Admission for all students in Grades 6 through 12. Priority is given to boarding students. Day enrolment is limited. Decisions will be offered on a rolling basis up to February 1st for all completed applications received by December 15th.
March 15th
Admission for all students in Grades 6 through 12. Priority is given to boarding students. Day enrolment is limited.
Decisions will be offered on a rolling basis up to May 1st for all completed applications received by March 15th
Rolling Admission
Admission for all students in Grades 6 through 12. Priority is given to boarding students. Day enrolment is limited.
For applications received after March 15th, decisions will be offered on a rolling basis until classes are full.
INTERNATIONAL APPLICATIONS
All non-Canadian students are required to apply to the Government of Canada for an Authorization to Study in Canada (Study Permit) prior to beginning studies at Rothesay Netherwood School. This process may take at least six to eight weeks or more to complete. A student must have a Letter of Acceptance from Rothesay Netherwood School prior to applying for a Study Permit. Early Admission application is, therefore, strongly recommended.
Once you select the appropriate Application Form above, you will be taken into our portal where you will log in or create an new account if you don't already have one. With a login, you don't have to complete the appication in one sitting, you can sign back in later to complete it. You will also be able to submit the application fee payment through the form.
After you have started your Application Form, you will be assigned the Application Checklist in your MyRNS account. One of the Checklist Steps is Recommendation. Here you will be asked to list your teacher's name and email address and request for them to complete the Teacher Report on your behalf.
While only one Teacher Report is required, an additional one may be requested of a different teacher. This is particularly useful if applying for a Scholarship from RNS.
In your Application Checklist, please upload copies of your child’s last two year's final reports from school and a copy of the most current report for this current schol year.
Under your Application Checklist, you will be requested to upload copies of your child’s birth certificate and/or passport (passports are required for all International Students).
Once your application is submitted, you will be contacted for an interview by the Admission Office. Interviews are conducted in person or remotely (online).
Payment is required online by credit card as part of the Application Form completion process.
