Built in memory of the Old Boys who lost their lives in the Great War, the Memorial Chapel is located at the heart of our campus and is a component of students' daily routine.
Each morning the school comes together to speak and think, to discuss and reflect and to sing. Though founded in the Anglican tradition, the Chapel provides a multi-faith spiritual gathering place for each member of our school community.
Each school day begins with Morning Chapel at 8:15am (9am on Wednesdays). This is an opportunity for all students and faculty to meet as a unified group each day, as well as a time for general school announcements. Attendance at Chapel is compulsory for all students.
Rothesay Netherwood School is located on the traditional territory of the Wolastoqiyik and Mi’kmaq Peoples. We are honoured to share this place, and as a school community, we are committed to being responsible stewards of the land on which we live, teach, and learn, both today and for future generations.
