Endowment

At RNS, our goal is to grow the Endowment to $20m so we can do more for more students.

Generous gifts donated over the last 20 years have revolutionized our school, helping our campus evolve into an exceptional place to live and learn. Recent fundraising efforts focused on upgrading our facilities to be considered among the best independent schools in Canada. We have reached that goal – now, we must double the size of our current endowment to alleviate the stress on our operational budget, secure
our financial future, and help our students soar.

Endowments are critical to the long-term financial stability of educational institutions. For Rothesay Netherwood School, the continued growth of our Endowment is crucial and we are making progress. In the past decade, the RNS Endowment has more than doubled and currently totals more than $12 million.

Distribution from the RNS Endowment Fund is done in accordance with policy set by the Board of Directors annually; presently 5% of principle is distributed annually. The continued growth of the Endowment will help RNS build and sustain our place among the best schools in Canada. Donors can choose to make a donation or Planned Gift directly to the RNS Endowment or to a specific designated fund.

Donations to the endowment ensure that RNS will always be a special place
where life lessons are learned and lifelong friendships flourish. Endowment
pledges are a promise to RNS students now, and years from now, that
they will always have a home on the Hill thanks to people who believe in them and an RNS education. We need your help to significantly grow our
endowment.
