At Home in the Maritimes

Where Stories, Music, Friendship, and Community Come Together

Join us on Saturday, November 1st for an unforgettable evening celebrating the spirit of the Maritimes and the heart of our Rothesay Netherwood School community. This year, inspired by our school theme, “Growing Community,” we invite you to experience a night where friends, families, and neighbours come together to share stories, laughter, music, and good food — in true Maritime style.

At RNS, our community is a place where when we arrive on the Hill we belong right away. Our annual Top of the Hill Dinner and Auction is a gathering where those new to RNS and those who know the school well, come together for a chance to connect, celebrate, and support our school, our students and the traditions that make RNS so special. Come for the warmth, the fun, and the feeling of home — it’s a night you won’t want to miss.

Join in on friendly competition in our live and silent auctions: one-of-a-kind trips, sports tickets, weekend adventures, group dinners and tastings, artwork, services, and more!

Proceeds from this year’s Top of the Hill Dinner and Auction will be used toward the school’s Campus Renaissance - a multi-year undertaking that will refresh spaces, upgrade facilities, revitalize the campus landscape and create signature spaces. These upgrades will enhance the RNS learning experience and ensure the safety of our students.

Spread the word: tell your family, friends and neighbours, everyone is welcome. We can’t wait to join you for a night of fun and camaraderie!

Thank you for your support of RNS.

Need to Know

Are there physical tickets? No, there are no physical tickets for you or your guests. Once you have registered/paid online or with the Development Office for your ticket/table, we add your name and the names of any guest(s) to the Registration List. When you arrive that evening, proceed to the Check-In Desk to let us know you are here!

What if I have an allergy or special dietary request?
Just let us know ahead of time in the Development Office and we'll make sure it is taken care of. All food in the buffet will be labeled for your reassurance, and when in doubt, just ask.

How should I dress?
We invite you to dress comfortably yet polished for an evening of community, friendship, and fun. The dress code is smart casual — refined and relaxed, more polished than everyday wear but less formal than business attire. Think tailored jeans, chinos, or dress pants paired with a smart blouse, shirt, or sweater, or an effortless casual dress or skirt. Blazers, button-down shirts, and well-fitted polos are all great choices. The goal is to feel at ease while maintaining a touch of sophistication, as you would for a dinner party or date night out.

How Can I Pay? Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX all accepted (bars and raffles included.) Cheques, Etransfers, and RNS School Account Charges will only be accepted for Tickets, Tables, and auction items payments. An ATM is on site.

Parking

Parking is available by following the road around campus by turning right at the top of the Hill. A guest parking lot is available to the right off Netherwood Lane when you approach the Science Hall Traffic Circle. Additional parking is available behind Memorial Arena by driving through the traffic circle. Heritage Hall, the dining hall, is located just a few steps from all both parking venues.

Please do not drive past any traffic bollards; roadways/pathways in these areas are for pedestrians only.
